For Immediate Nitrogen Action and Active Sulfur Supply
Ammonium sulfate is a powerful mineral fertilizer that delivers readily available nitrogen and sulfur. The nitrogen is entirely in ammonium form (NH₄⁺), allowing for rapid plant uptake and immediate growth stimulation. The high sulfur content is essential for the formation of proteins and chlorophyll, and contributes to efficient nitrogen utilization.
With its natural acidifying effect, ammonium sulfate lowers the pH of calcareous soils. This enhances the availability of trace elements such as iron, manganese, and zinc, helping to prevent deficiencies and improve the plant’s nutrient uptake capacity. This makes it especially suitable for soils with a high pH or following fertilization with phosphate- and potassium-rich compost.
For Demanding Crops and Maximum Nutrient Efficiency
This fertilizer is particularly well-suited for sulfur-demanding crops such as potatoes, cabbages, onions, leeks, asparagus, lettuce, and strawberries. It is also an effective nitrogen source for lawns, grapes, and ornamental plants, especially when fast action is required.
Thanks to its fine granule size (0.2–0.3 mm), the product is easy and uniform to distribute, both manually and mechanically. Ammonium sulfate dissolves quickly upon contact with moisture, ensuring immediate effectiveness after application.
Pure Mineral Composition
Ammonium sulfate is a pure mineral fertilizer, produced to high quality standards. It contains no lime, chlorides, compost residues, or organic additives. This makes it ideal for controlled applications in precision agriculture, conventional cultivation, and professional horticultural management.
Composition
Mineral nitrogen fertilizer with sulfur (EU fertilizer)
Made from pure ammonium sulfate (CAS No. 7783-20-2), in accordance with EU Directive 2008/98/EC

Application and Instructions for Use
Evenly distribute the fertilizer over the area to be treated. Preferably work it lightly into the top layer of soil or allow the granules to be washed in by expected rainfall. In dry conditions, watering after application is recommended to speed up nutrient uptake. Application is ideally done at the start of the growing season or as targeted supplementary fertilization during cultivation. Avoid applying together with lime-based fertilizers in a single pass to prevent nitrogen loss through ammonia volatilization.
Recommended Dosage of Ammonium Sulfate
- Lawns and ornamental gardens: 50–80 g/m²
- Vegetable gardens and crops: 50–100 g/m², depending on the crop and nitrogen requirements
- Cabbages, leeks, rhubarb: up to 90 g/m²
- Potatoes: approx. 70 g/m²
- Fruit crops and strawberries: 50–80 g/m²
- Fruit trees, berries, and grapes: 40–60 g/m²
- Potted and container plants: 5–10 g per litre of potting soil, mix well
- Compost improvement: approx. 50 g/m² per 20–30 cm layer
- Professional use (agriculture): approx. 475 kg/ha for 100 kg nitrogen requirement per hectare
Application Period
Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer can be applied throughout the entire growing period of the crop. Application is recommended at the start of growth or as supplementary fertilization during critical developmental stages, such as leaf formation or budding. For optimal effect, the fertilizer should be applied when roots are actively growing and soil moisture is sufficient to ensure effective nitrogen and sulfur uptake by the plant.
Storage
Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place, preferably out of direct sunlight. The ideal temperature range is between +2 °C and +30 °C, avoiding extreme temperature fluctuations. After opening, carefully reseal the packaging to prevent moisture absorption and loss of quality. When stored correctly, the product remains stable, effective, and safe for extended use. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
