Buxus Vital Concentrate assists your boxwood in naturally bolstering its resilience and vitality by 100%. In turn, you get a stronger and healthier boxwood that grows in a balanced and steady manner. Moreover, a robust and vibrant boxwood is better able to withstand insect attacks such as the Boxwood Moth and diseases like boxwood fungus. Buxus Vital Concentrate is an exceptionally potent, stimulating, and nourishing product for every boxwood.
It's made from a blend of specific, natural herbal extracts and is safe for humans, animals, and the environment. The ingredients of Buxus Vital 1000 ml – Concentrate are slowly absorbed by the plant and its roots, then distributed through the sap flow, endowing the entire boxwood with resilience and vitality.
Buxus Vital Concentrate can be applied to both full soil and pots by watering the plant and the soil. The solution is absorbed by the soil and the plant's roots. Treat during the growing season and repeat every 3 weeks. Pour the Buxus Vital Concentrate solution over the entire plant until it's dripping wet. Should there be any sign of damage or excessive rainfall, increase the interval.

Usage Instructions and Dosage
- Dissolve Buxus Vital Concentrate in water; 100 ml in 5 litres of water.
- Pour the Buxus Vital Concentrate solution over the entire plant until it's dripping wet. 100 ml of concentrate suffices for about 10 metres of boxwood hedge.
- Repeat this application every three weeks during the growing season. If any damage or heavy rain is evident, adjust the interval accordingly.
- Buxus Vital Concentrate can be applied to full soil and hedges.
* For optimal results, ensure dry conditions so that leaf absorption can take place. Cloudy and overcast weather is crucial. Do not spray in temperatures above 25 ºC.
Storage
Keep away from direct sunlight in a cool and dark place. Even after opening, this product remains effective for over a year without any decline in quality.
Background Information
In recent years, the nuisance from the boxwood moth caterpillar has escalated, becoming a dreaded and common pest for boxwoods. In a short span, a boxwood can be stripped bare, resulting in extensive damage. While the moth itself doesn't directly harm the boxwood, its larvae (caterpillar) do. Typically, the life cycle of a boxwood moth involves three caterpillar phases and two moth phases annually.
Generally, the caterpillars emerge from their cocoons by the end of April. June and July see the moths become active, after which new caterpillars start feeding on your boxwood from the end of July, peaking in August. By September, these caterpillars turn into moths. The last caterpillars of the year, born from these moths, feed until October. They then spin into their cocoons to hibernate over winter.
