Instructions for Use
- Soil preparation: Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Loosen the soil to approximately 30 cm to encourage healthy root and tuber development.
- Pre-sprouting (optional): Pre-sprouting can be carried out three to four weeks before planting in a light, frost-free environment to encourage early and strong shoot formation.
- Planting: Plant after the risk of frost has passed. Keep approximately 40 cm between plants and 60 cm between rows. Plant potato tubers about 10 cm deep with the shoots facing upward.
- Care: Earth up the plants gradually after about five to six weeks. Regular watering and attentive disease monitoring are important. Preventive measures against Phytophthora are recommended for healthy growth.
- Harvesting: Harvest Roseval potatoes once the foliage begins to die back, usually between 95 and 110 days after planting. Lift potato sets carefully to avoid tuber damage.
