Usage Instructions

When creating, renovating and maintaining (drought-prone) sandy soils. Distribute the Bentonite evenly over the sandy soil and incorporate it into the top layer of the soil.

• 70% Montmorillonite
• 60% SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide)
• 22% Al2O3 (Aluminium Oxide)

Dosage

• Light soils: 150 g/m²
• Medium soils: 100 g/m²
• Heavy soils: 50 g/m²
• Composting: Add approximately 1 kg Bentonite per 10 cm compost layer and m² compost area to prevent washout in compost and retain valuable humic acids. Mix the Bentonite evenly into the compost pile as you build it. Cover thinly with garden soil or leaves afterwards.
• Spread on beds and other surfaces: 100-300 g per m².
• Mix with soil: 10-25 kg/m³, depending on the soil's nature.
• For example, for planting roses: Sprinkle Bentonite into the planting hole, lightly mix, and moisten well, or dip the roots or root balls into a Bentonite suspension and plant directly.
• Bentonite can be used in ponds to improve waterproofing and keep the water clear. Bentonite can be used when creating new ponds or refurbishing existing ones. The addition of Bentonite makes the bottom of the pond watertight and prevents leaks

* When using Bentonite in combination with compost, the dosage can be reduced by 1/3.
